Coil Bowl

This is a small coil built bowl with an undulating form. I smoothed the entire surface with my fingers and a rubber rib. I took my time shaving it down to create thin walls and a level rim. I made sure to emphasize the curves of the bowl rounding them out. It was a challenge smoothing the inside where the base meets the side of the bowl. When it dried the base cracked and I had to fill it with magic mud. I needed to wrap it and not let certain areas dry faster than others.
